Films 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM The Reel Paddling Film Festival is an international film tour presenting the world’s best whitewater, sea kayaking, canoeing, SUP and kayak fishing action and lifestyle films of the year on screens in 100 cities across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe. - Film abstracts and run times of winning (announced on Feb 8, 2012) and shortlisted 2012 World Tour films.

Sunday, January 28th, 2012 – Muskeg River Winter Cleanup – approximately 5 to 8 hour snowshoe trip (from McMurray return) - This is a proposed date so feedback is essential for our success. Help chainsaw out the sweepers across the Muskeg river before the paddling season. It’s an hour drive there and an hour+ snowshoe to the sweepers. Please contact Darin Zandee. Enbridge Temporary Bridge To Be Removed by Feb 15th |

Up to February 15th, 2012 – PUBLIC NOTICE Very Temporary Bridge – Clearwater River - Enbridge currently removing the temporary bridge that was constructed across the Clearwater River, located at: N 564025.6 W 1110616.2 (about 2 kms upstream and east of the ski hill).The bridge is expected to be completely removed by 15th of February, 2012. Welcome to the website of the Borealis Canoe Club.
The club focuses on both whitewater and flatwater paddling especially around Fort McMurray and the rest of north-eastern Alberta. We're planning numerous events throughout the year. Please check the Event Schedule for what has been planned so far and check back often for updates.
